Im a science communicator with a background in biology. I help scientists to communicate their research to lay and specialized audiences. My work consist in proposing a clear and simple way of showing and communicating the information produced by scientists, research institutions or private companies. I help to identify the key aspects to be told, create and develop a story and, finally, measuring its impact.
Briefly, this is what I do:
Tailored communication strategies for external and internal needs;
Digital strategies: web, intranet and social media initiatives
Press relations
Outreach activities (e.g. science cafes, and any other kind of science dissemination activities)
Science journalism (writing pieces on scientific issues for traditional media)
I work closely with scientists, press offices, marketing and communication managers, IT technicians, journalists and media producers, agencies, designers and programmers to carry out the production and editorial phases of the projects.
I offer science communication strategies aimed to help research institutes, scientists and PR offices to effectively communicate their results. I also have experience creating and running the Communication and Dissemination activities for Horizon 2020 projects.
